Image: Mahogany stretchers
I made these for a furniture maker who will use them in making gallery picture racks.
These are mahogany, which turned very nicely on the Centauro lathe. I kissed them with a bit of 150 grit sandpaper before they came off the lathe to remove major tool marks and any wood fuzz.
